Hendre Farm & Dinas Island Cottages
Hendre Farm is situated just half a mile from Newport village in the heart of the Pembrokeshire National Park,
The seaside village of Newport is very attractive and has several pubs, restaurants, craft shops and galleries. Newport beach and various secluded coves are dotted along the coastline waiting to be explored and the coastal bus service can be caught at the end of the farm lane.
At any time of the year, the cottages provide a cosy and welcoming base
All the beds have duvets and will be made up with fresh bed linen for your arrival and bath towels are also provided.
There is ample parking adjacent to each cottage.
There is full oil fired central heating throughout the properties, this and electricity will be charged for according to use.
A travel cot and highchair are available please request on booking.
There is a No smoking policy in the all the cottages.
WIFI connection is available in all the cottages.
Up to two pets are welcome, but restricted to the tilled areas only please.
In the low season weeks, we are happy to offer a reduction for small parties in the larger cottages - maximum of 2 bedrooms to be used. Please ask for further information.
Ty Cariad (Love house) sleeps 2/3
This semi detached cottage with reversed accommodation, makes an ideal retreat for two or three persons.
Entrance into the kitchen and dining room which has a tiled floor and enjoys sea views.
The KITCHEN AREA has a range of fitted units incorporating electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave oven, fridge freezer, automatic washing machine
Two steps lead from the dining area to the bedrooms on the ground floor as this accommodation is reversed.
BEDROOM 1 has an open beamed ceiling and is furnished with a kingsize bed
BEDROOM 2 has an open beamed ceiling, a 3' single bed.
The beds will be made up with fresh linen and duvets for your arrival.
The BATHROOM is also on the ground floor and has a bath with shower over, WC and wash hand basin.
The large SITTING ROOM is upstairs and has lovely sea views and an open beamed ceiling

There is a garden to the fore of the cottage which enjoys superb sea views over Newport Bay and makes an ideal place to enjoy the superb west coast sunsets. Garden furniture is provided.
Ty Fferm (Farmhouse) Sleeps 6
Entrance into open-plan kitchen and dining room, the room retains lots of character with open beamed ceiling, laminated floor and the inglenook snug with armchairs, TV and a log burner.
The KITCHEN AREA has a tiled floor and fully fitted kitchen units; electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave oven and washing machine.
The SITTING ROOM has a sea view and overlooks the lawn and patio, colour TV, DVD
Stairs lead from the sitting room to the MASTER BEDROOM which is galleried and contains a kingsize pine bed and has a superb view of Newport Bay.
The en suite BATHROOM contains a bath with overhead shower, WC and wash hand basin.
The other two bedrooms are approached via a staircase from the kitchen.
BEDROOM 2 has twin beds, beamed ceiling and a sea view.

Entrance leads into open-plan kitchen/dining and living room, which has exposed stone walls, some original arrow windows and high open rafters.
The KITCHEN AREA has a tiled floor and is well fitted with a range of units incorporating dishwasher, fridge/freezer, full size electric cooker, and microwave oven.
The DINING AREA has a large farmhouse dining table and chairs.
The SITTING AREA has a laminate floor, colour TV, DVD, and Hi Fi.
There are 3 bedrooms, bedrooms 1 and 2 are on the ground floor and have extra wide 3' doorways.
BEDROOM 1 has open beamed ceilings, it is furnished with a kingsize bed,
BEDROOM 2 is furnished with twin 3' beds, The downstairs SHOWER ROOM is suitable for wheelchair access as it has a drive in shower with non-slip flooring, WC and vanity wash hand basin.
There is also a UTILITY ROOM with an automatic washing machine and a second shower.
BEDROOM 3 has limited headroom, there are coastal glimpses from the velux windows and the room is furnished with four 3' beds. EN-SUITE with WC and wash hand basin.

Ty Gwartheg – Cattle House sleeps 10
This renovated cow shed enjoys superb sea views over Newport Bay.
Entrance into spacious open-plan kitchen/dining room which has a tiled floor and enjoys superb sea views.
The KITCHEN AREA is fitted with a range of units, incorporating an electric hob and oven, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, automatic washing machine and coffee maker.
The DINING AREA has a sea view and is furnished with a Welsh dresser, large farmhouse table and 10 chairs.

The family BATHROOM is downstairs and has a bath with electric shower over, WC and wash hand basin.

BEDROOM 4 is upstairs and has limited headroom, velux windows provide lovely sea views and is furnished with four 3' single beds

Cottages on Dinas Island
Within walking distance of the delightful beaches at Cwm yr Eglwys and Pwllgwaelod, This National Trust owned farm house offers accommodation with seclusion and a near perfect location on a working farm
The farmhouse offers shared use of the automatic washing machine and chest freezer in the UTILITY ROOM.
Behind the main farmhouse is a large garden which guests are welcome to share.
Fresh hot bread, cakes and home cooked meals are available from the farmhouse.
Dinas Island Cottage – sleeps 4
Saturday Change Over
The slate fronted farm house is situated in a sheltered position on Dinas Island and the walk around the island (actually a promontory headland) is part of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and has been awarded the AA Walk of the Year numerous times and featured in The Times 20 Great British Walks.
Every effort has been made to ensure that your stay will be comfortable and welcoming. There is an excellent pub with restaurant overlooking the beach and nearby, in the village, a further selection of pubs and village shops.
Entrance into large hallway and through to comfortable LOUNGE which features an open fire and is furnished with a leather suite, colour TV, DVD
The small adjoining KITCHEN has an open low beamed ceiling, a range of fitted units, electric hob and oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave oven and a pine dining table with chairs.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms, both enjoying pastoral and farmyard views.
BEDROOM 1 is spacious and has a double bed.
BEDROOM 2 has 3' bunk beds.
All the beds have duvets and will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival.
The BATHROOM has a bath, shower, WC and wash hand basin.

There is a patio area to the front with garden furniture and you have shared use of the garden
Ample parking for two cars and a boat if required.
Oil central heating is available throughout the property at a charge of £20 per week when required. Electricity is included in the rental. Logs are available locally.
Workshop Cottage sleeps 2+
A lovely little Studio Cottage for two close to Cwm yr Eglwys and Pwllgwaelod beaches and within a couple of hundred yards of the coastal path.
Workshop Cottage enjoys a great spot at the heart of a working farm on the north Pembrokeshire coast.
Entrance is into the open plan KITCHEN AND DINING ROOM which has a tiled floor and is fitted with a range of Shaker style units incorporating an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and a dining table with chairs.
There is more freezer space and a washing machine available in the farmhouse utility room if you need it.
The SHOWER ROOM is downstairs and has a wet room shower with tiled floor, WC and hand basin.
There is also space to hang coats and store walking boots.
Stairs lead to the large BED-SITTING ROOM which has windows on all 4 sides affording farmyard views.
The sitting area is furnished with a comfortable sofa (which converts to a double bed for occasional use), coffee table, wall mounted TV with DVD player.
There is a double bed with attractive cushions and throws, bedside tables with lamps and a chest of drawers for clothes storage.
A door leads to the original workshop steps.
Garden and Parking
To the rear of the cottage is a courtyard of farm buildings, some of which are used for the new born lambs in early Spring.
There is parking for two cars and a small patio area with a table and chairs.
There are night store heaters throughout the cottage, electricity is included in the rental from May to September and charged at a flat rate of £20 at all other times - please pay the owner while on holiday.
One well behaved pet is welcome but must sleep in the kitchen/dining area. There is an outdoor stone kennel built under the original workshop steps if
