Cottages at Hendre & Dinas Island Farm 

Delightfully converted stone barns at Hendre Farm and within walking distance of the village of Newport and the beaches of Parrog and Aber Rhigian; both of which are on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Nestling in at the foot of Carn Ingli Mountain overlooking Newport Bay, these properties really do occupy a great location. 

Newport is filled with stone and colour washed cottages, making it very picturesque. There are several pubs, resturants, cafes, shops and galleries in the village. 

Available locally are golf, fishing, bike hire, walking, horse riding and boating facilities. Newport Beach and various secluded coves are dotted along the coastline waiting to be explored and the coastal bus service can be caught at the end of the farm lane. At any time of the year, these cottages will provide a cosy and welcoming base. 

Fresh hot bread, cakes and "ready meals" are available to order daily from Lynda 

There is full oil fired central heating throughout the properties, this and electricity will be charged for according to use. 

WIFI connection is available in all the cottages 

A travel cot and highchair are available.  

Up to two well behaved pets are welcome

Ty Cariad: The smallest of our cottages sleeps up to 3 people in two bedrooms 1 x double room, 1 x single, with a sitting room upstairs to enjoy the sea views over Newport Bay (Saturday change over)

Ty Fferm: Sleeps up to 6 people in three bedrooms, 1 x double room, 1 x twin room, 1 x bunk room, this property also has a log burner for those cosy winter days (Saturday change over) 

Ty Felin: Sleeps up to 8 people in three bedrooms 1 x double room, 1 x twin room, 1 x loft room with 4 x single beds, and this cottage is also wheelchair friendly and has a "drive in shower". (Saturday change over) 

Ty Gwartheg: Sleeps up to 10 people in 4 bedrooms, 2 x double rooms, 1 x bunk room and 1 x loft room with 4 x single beds, this property also has uninterrupted views over Newport Bay (Friday change over)

In the low season weeks, we are happy to offer a reduction for small parties - maximum of 2 bedrooms to be used on the larger properties. Please ask for further information. 

Dinas Island : Sleeps 4 in two bedrooms 1x double room 1 x bunk room Within walking distance of the delightful beaches at Cwm yr Eglwys and Pwllgwaelod, this semi-detached National Trust owned farm house offers peace, seclusion and a near perfect location on a working farm. (Saturday changeover)

The slate fronted farm house is situated in a sheltered position on Dinas Island and the walk around the island (actually a promontory headland) is part of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and has been awarded the AA Walk of the Year numerous times and featured in The Times 20 Great British Walks. Every effort has been made to ensure that your stay will be comfortable and welcoming. There is an excellent pub with restaurant overlooking the beach and nearby, in the village, a further selection of pubs and village shops.
